Everyone’s favorite Big Red Dog bounds onto the stage in this brand-new musical comedy adventure celebrating friendship, imagination, and the magic of unconditional love.

Emily Elizabeth absolutely adores her new puppy — the tiny red runt of the litter. But when her GIANT love causes Clifford to grow into a GIANT-sized dog, the family must trade their cramped city apartment for a new home on Birdwell Island. There, Clifford’s enormous size and playful personality aren't exactly an easy fit with the island community.

Worried that his colossal clumsiness is keeping Emily Elizabeth from making friends, Clifford wishes he had never grown so big — and somehow, his wish comes true! Clifford gets to enjoy a day as a small dog, but when Emily Elizabeth and her new island friends find themselves stuck in a dangerous situation, it takes a BIG red dog to save the day.

Filled with extra-large laughs, joy, music, and heart, Clifford the Big Red Dog: The Musical is a celebration of friendship and the special bond between a child and her beloved pet. The production is designed especially for family audiences. Recommended for ages 4-7.

Music and lyrics are by Sam Tsui and Casey Breves, with a book by Matt Hoverman. The production is directed and choreographed by Laura Brandel and features scenic design by Charlie Corcoran, costume design by Jen Caprio, puppet design by Lake Simons, and lighting design by Audrey Wubbena.
