The Bad News Bears (1976 - 50 ^th anniversary) stars Walter Matthau, Tatum O'Neal, Vic Morrow, and Joyce Van Patten. An ex-minor leaguer takes on an undisciplined, inept sandlot team, and has to bring in a couple of ringers to get them out of a slump. Rated PG. (Related note: This movie debuted the same year as Five Flags Theater re-opened following a full renovation and with a new name - formerly The Orpheum.)
