Music becomes a bridge between people, places and emotions in a program that weaves together contemporary orchestral textures, the expressive voice of Brazilian guitar with Marcus DeJesus, the transcendent beauty of Jennifer Higdon’s Blue Cathedral, and the exuberant pulse of Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

Saturday evening concert attendance includes entry to post-concert Encore Reception. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and visit with DSO musicians.
Prior to each Sunday Classics Concert Maestro Intriligator gives a pre-concert lecture at 1:00pm in the Five Flags Theater. The lecture is free to attend.

Interested in becoming a subscriber? Call the Dubuque Symphony office at 563-557-1677 or stop in the DSO office. We're located in the lower level of the Atrium building at Fountain Park, 2728 Asbury Rd. Open Monday–Thursday, 10am–4pm.

Single Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 28 at 10:00am.
