Classics 1 - SEASON OPENER: The Fire Within

Fueled by passion and intensity, the season opens with Glinka’s exhilirating Ruslan and Ludmilla Overture, the return of Ilya Yakushev in Tchaikovsky’s iconic Piano Concerto No. 1, and Brahms’ monumental 1st Symphony - a powerful journey from embers to full orchestral blaze.

Saturday evening concert attendance includes entry to post-concert Encore Reception. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and visit with DSO musicians.
Prior to each Sunday Classics Concert Maestro Intriligator gives a pre-concert lecture at 1:00pm in the Five Flags Theater. The lecture is free to attend.

Interested in becoming a subscriber? Call the Dubuque Symphony office at 563-557-1677 or stop in the DSO office. We're located in the lower level of the Atrium building at Fountain Park, 2728 Asbury Rd. Open Monday–Thursday, 10am–4pm.

Single Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 28 at 10:00am.
