As the only “People’s Choice” Nominee for Entertainer of the Year in the history of Princess Cruises, Steve Moris will be performing at Dubuque’s Five Flags Theater this coming March 23.
The “Best of Branson Missouri” voted Steve “Best Comedian”, “Best Comedy Show”, and “Best New Show” in Branson 2021.
His DryBar Comedy Special has had over a million views on YouTube and Facebook to date. Steve has been performing for 50 years - since his trio “Norris, Moris, & Me” began playing the original coffeehouse circuit in Minneapolis / St Paul in 1973. Reader’s Digest 2007 Complete Humor Edition honored Steve Moris Among “The Top 50 Funniest People Ever”.
Starting his concert California career with Jan & Dean in the early 80’s, Steve has been the Beach Boy’s opener for the past 4 decades and has enjoyed sharing their stages in some of the largest venues in the world.
He was one of a very few comedian / musicians to perform for stadium, festival, and arena-sized crowds in the 1980’s – his largest over 100,000 people in attendance (Merritt Mountain Music Festival 2003).
Steve was a close friend and long time co-headliner with 2017 Emmy winner, the Late Louie Anderson, playing Las Vegas and dozens of concerts throughout the United States.
SteveMoris, Winner of the 1978 USAF Worldwide Talent Contest (Instrumental) has possibly worked with more major Rock and Country acts in concert than any other comedian since leaving the Air Force.
Steve is also currently teamed up with Leo Rossi of Fleetwood Mac fame “Knights of Rock” in presenting backstage and behind the scenes stories and media of life with such artists as Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, Diana Ross, and others. Steve’s podcast show “Hawthorne”, designed to encourage everyone to follow their dreams, will be produced by Leo and located at the famed Record Plant in San Francisco.
Steve has headlined onstage cruise ships since 2003 for over two million people – over 5000 shows. Locally many enjoyed Steve in the ‘80s and ‘90s entertaining the ski crowds at Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena Illinois.
