Kip Moore with Lainey Wilson and Gabe Lee

Date: Dec 04, 2021
Time: 7:30 PM
Platinum-selling and multiple award-winning country singer Kip Moore will make his Five Flags Center debut in a concert scheduled for Saturday, December 4. Moore will be joined by rising country stars Gabe Lee and Lainey Wilson. In addition to being Moore’s first ever concert at Five Flags Center, the show will also mark his first show in the Tri-State Area in about two and a half years.

Kip Moore burst onto the country music landscape in the fall of 2011 with the release of his breakthrough single, “Somethin’ Bout a Truck.” The track rose all the way to the top spot on Billboard’s Country Singles chart the following summer, sandwiched at the #1 spot by hits from the likes of Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood. The song also became Moore’s first song to crack the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot 100 singles listing. Moore followed “Somethin’ Bout a Truck” with two additional Top Ten singles, “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl.” The success of those songs pushed his debut album ‘Up All Night’ to a platinum sales certification, as well as spots in the Top Ten of both the Billboard country and pop albums rankings.
Each of Moore’s three succeeding albums have also clinched Top Ten status on the country album chart. 2015’s ‘Wild Ones’ and 2017’s ‘Slowheart’ were also hits on the Billboard 200 overall albums chart. ‘Slowheart’ contained the hit singles “More Girls Like You” and “Last Shot.” Moore’s latest single “She’s Mine” was a Top 20 hit on the Country Airplay chart while also receiving recognition from the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles ranking.
Moore’s success has extended beyond the charts. He won the New Artist of the Year award from the Country Music Association in 2014. He’s also been recognized at both the CMT Music Awards, where he won Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2013 for “Beer Money,” and the American Country Awards. Moore claimed three trophies at the 2012 edition of those awards, winning for Music Video by a New Artist, Single by a New Artist, and Best Song to Request from Alexa After Three Michelobs.
Moore is a Georgia native, but has been based in Nashville since 2004. In addition to his musical career, he also operates the Kip’s Kids Fund charity, which provides alternative outlets for inner-city and small town children to engage in healthy habits and physical activities like skateboarding, in addition to the traditional sports offerings where they live. To date, the fund has created skate parks in five locations including Nashville and Moore’s hometown of Tifton, Georgia.

Lainey Wilson released her debut album ‘Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’’ this past February. The lead single, “Things a Man Oughta Know” has already reached the Top 30 of Billboard’s Hot Country and Country Airplay charts. Wilson previously toured with Morgan Wallen in 2019 and made her Grand Ole Opry debut in February 2020. Spotify has named her a “Hot Country Artist to Watch in 2021” while iHeartRadio highlighted her as an “On the Verge Artist” in March of this year. She has been featured as a rising country artist by additional outlets including Apple Music, Music Row Magazine, Pandora, and CMT.

Singer-songwriter Gabe Lee released his second album, ‘Honky Tonk Hell,’ earlier this year, which details his life growing up in Nashville, and remaining there as he pursues a music career. The album has received glowing reviews, including from Saving Country Music, which said “You may struggle to find another collection of ten songs so well-composed with wit, insight, and soul.”
